CHRIS HORTON

Chris Horton hails from De La Salle High School in New Orleans, Louisiana.  In his high school career Chris was named to the all district team two times while also being named District MVP. Chris attended UCLA where he completed 238 tackles, and won the Paul I. Wellman award for all around excellence as a defensive player. He was also named to the All American first team by The Sporting News. Chris earned All-Pac-10 conference first-team honors in 2007.

In 2008 Chris was selected in the 7th round of the NFL draft by the Redskins. So far in his young career, Chris has already earned Rookie of the Week, NFL Defensive player of the week, and has proven to be the surprise talent of the 2008 draft. Chris is currently ranked 2nd in the NFL with interceptions.
